So many people have been making thousands and even millions from YouTube since it was known but most people just use it for fun and entertainment or education without knowing that they could earn from it.
But you are not gonna be like those people any longer because I'm gonna teach you how to create a steady income from YouTube with or without investments. But let's start with your YouTube channel creation and customization.
Here are the steps to create an organized YouTube channel;

You'll then need to make a decision if you account will be a personal or business account, for this guide you'll make it a personal account because in order to create a business account you'll need a business email (info.companyname.com) but if you have a business email you can continue with that. Then you need to decide your niche so you can know the type of videos you'll be posting, people who you want to be your subscribers and what will be presented on your channel. Once you've loggged In to YouTube with your your email, your default channel will automatically be created by Google.
So you need to customize the channel for your business so you click on the CUSTOMIZE CHANNEL button shown in the top right of the page, to be ready for the next steps.

On the channel customization page you click on the BASIC INFO button them you add the name you chose and add a description of your channel. You add what your channel will be used for, how it will benefit the viewers, what you will be shown to the viewers. After you've added your name and description you'll be given a URL but you can instead add a custom URL so you can boost up your Rankings on YouTube.
3. Upload Profile Picture And icon.
After you've created the name, description and URL for channel, you will then need to brand your channel because you are using your YouTube channel as an extension of your business.
To add these images you'll have to tap on the BRANDING button on the top navigation bar of the page.
High quality images tends to make your page more creative and professional so it will drag the attention of the passing viewers. You should upload a clear, high-quality logo of at least 98×98 pixels with a size less than 4 MB for your picture.
Your logo represents your channel so it will appear on every page that have your videos. To design a good logo for your business/channel you can use softwares like Canva and Renderforest { they have free plans for beginners}.
Your banner image should be an informative graphic that illustrates the highlights of your Page. This image will appear at the top of your page, behind your profile picture. The graphic should be at least 2048×1152 pixels and size less than 6 MB. You can design a good banner image with Canva too.
You will also create a video watermark, this graphic can be your logo, the watermark helps create consistency across multiple videos, tying them back to your account. The video watermark will appear in the corner of each of your videos respectively. With a watermark, your audience will be able to identify which videos are yours.
4. Upload And Optimize Your Videos
After you've edited your page appearance you need to start uploading your videos to make it a YouTube channel because YouTube is a video platform. This step is the main step, your audience will only view your channel only if it has videos in it.
First you need to create a video you'll need a camera, smartphone or PC. Then you are to design your videos you could use Renderforest or Canva for this to get great results, as I said earlier you can start using it for free.
The upload takes just few minutes, after you've created and designed it you have to save it on an accessible place on your phone or PC or computer.
Next you go to your channel and click on the CREATE button in the corner of your page after clicking it a page will pop-up that tells you to select the file that you want to upload. Then you click on Select files to find the file that you saved, after that YouTube will automatically upload the video.

If you are having problems finding the right keywords to use they are various softwares you can use for that like; Tubebuddy and VidiQ (these are tools that can help you determine which keywords you should be targeting for your content type on YouTube). These tools can also help you grow your YouTube channel so you can make money from it.

So now you have already created and posted your videos, it's time to change the looks. It's important to hook your viewers on your channel so they could spend more time viewing your videos, that's why you need to customize the looks of your videos, so pay attention to this.
There are so many options of layouts to pick from but it should be based on your niche. So let's get started, click on the LAYOUT tab at the top of the navigation bar to start customizing your page. Once you click on the LAYOUT tab a pop-up will appear for you to choose between Video Spotlight and Featured Sections which means Either you'll Showing a channel trailer to those who haven’t subscribed or a featured video for returning subscribers.
Video spotlight
The Video spotlight is helpful and beneficial because it lets your new audiences see a high level overview video about your channel and this will encourage them to subscribe and keep on coming to your page. But the video will be shown to only a new audience. The old subscribers won't need to see this because they already know about your page.
Featured sections
This is all about compiling a group of videos that are of similar concepts, you can have up to twelve of these sections on your page. This video actually makes it easier for viewers to watch videos longer and will keep on searching your YouTube channel for more videos of their interests. It will also make it easier for viewers to find videos because you've grouped them.
7. Create A Playlist
A playlist is similar to the featured sections because they serve the same purpose which is to encourage continuous watching from your audience. You are also grouping them according to their topics, so it's actually similar to the featured sections. But it's a little bit different because in playlists you can put much more videos unlike the featured sections.
To create a playlist you click on the PLAYLIST button on the top left menu, then on the top right you'll then see a NEW PLAYLIST button, click on it.
Once you've done that you can then choose a name for your playlist. Also set the Visibility level for the playlist. So now the playlist will be successfully created, you'll then need to add the videos you want to add. It can either be a video with similar topics/concepts, episodes, updates, product releases and so on. To do this you need to click on the CONTENT button on the left side then you can add the videos you want.
